La Sagrada Familia - Inside - Barcelona, Spain

La Sagrada is the coolest church, ummmm building, that I have ever been in. Another, and probably the most famous Gaudi design. There so much detail, so much to see. You could spend hours and never see it all, even with a tour! It is forever under construction and scheduled to be completed in 2026 (the 100 year anniversary of Gaudi's death) but we will see what happens with it. I am definitely going back.

Casa Mila aka La Padrera (the Quarry) is yet another bizarre (read: awesome) Gaudi complex.

This arch was built in Barcelona in 1888, it is similar in structre and concept to an arch of the same name in Paris. This one, however, is much smaller.

Glendalough - Wicklow, Ireland

Glendalough is a medieval settlement from the 6th century that is located just outside of Dublin. It contains a grave site, an old church (whose stone walls are all that remain), the round tower, which served as a storage site and lookout point and St. Kevin's kitchen, all of which are in the photos below.
